WakefieldCrossing.com: Selling the Invisible

Pier Creates Marketing Strategy for New Condominium Project

WakefieldCrossing.com presented many unique challenges. First, there was a very broad audience target. This site needed to appeal to both young professionals and empty nesters alike. Second, the product being sold was not yet built meaning all of the assets for the property's marketing collateral would have to be created from scratch using only plans provided by the architects. And finally, the site aimed to sell luxury housing in a community not normally considered high end.

Pier turned these obstacles into an opportunity to create a virtual Wakefield Crossing on the web. Pier created both interior and exterior 3D models of the property to be used as static renderings and animated tours in a dynamic Flash environment. The goal was to create a tangible emotional experience for visitors and tie them to the property and the lifestyle available to them at Wakefield Crossing. WakefieldCrossing.com was such a success that the developer has enlisted Pier to head up marketing efforts for new developments that will use only the web to advertise and sell units.
